Title: Eye tracking in the New World of UX
Time/Date:10 am | Thursday, September 2nd
Location: Room - Maryland F, Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel
Description: The world of user experience evolves rapidly, and so too must the research approaches used to examine it. Adoption of eye tracking as a tool for understanding usability started around the time of the dotcom boom, and it has continued to “grow up” alongside the worldwide web for the past twenty years. In this presentation, I’ll discuss the latest innovations in studying how we visually interact with our devices – in the lab, on the couch, and out in the world. Eye tracking has matured into an ideal tool for studying UX across a huge range of application areas.
